jammingdevice I find my ear frustrated by a lack of resolution or polish on many musical ideas here, as well as a lack of any clear direction, leaving little distinction between most of the tracks. Still, they’re mixed nicely, with dreamy reverb providing a level landscape across which to spread the entire EP. All the melodies are based firmly in Japanese jazz/pop and anime stylings, which provides unique flavor—less Einaudi and more Hisashi, but far less confident than the latter. Favorite track: Disappear.
